ISAT is a computer-based test. A short tutorial on how to navigate the electronic test format is offered before undertaking the test. ISAT is presented in units: stimulus material is followed by multiple-choice questions.
It assesses:-
- Critical Reasoning – comprehending, analysing, evaluating & extending ideas, these questions use materials from the humanities & social sciences.
- Quantitative Reasoning – drawing conclusions, making decisions & solving problems, these questions use material from mathematics & the sciences.
ISAT does not test subject specific knowledge.
